R3/ Miller Springs Update:
Big milestone at Miller Springs in Burns—finished paving today! This aerial shot captures the future of our community: a 160-home subdivision alongside 30 acres for vibrant commercial businesses and 30 acres of light industrial to support local growth. We’re excited to announce that foundations were excavated today for the first three homes, with 20 slated for construction this year. Follow our progress for updates and opportunities as Miller Springs comes to life!

Burns Chief of Police Position:
General Duties: The Chief of Police manages and directs all aspects and operations of the Burns Police Department,
including, without limitation, criminal investigations, community policing, crime prevention, and planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of department personnel. The Chief of Police is responsible for the development and implementation of department budgets, goals, and objectives. The Chief of Police provides managerial expertise and citywide organizational issues and advises the City Manager and Council on public safety and other matters. The Chief of Police works under the general guidance and direction of the City Manager.
