Burn Day Status

Burning opens October 1st. Make sure you have your Burn Permit!

Before you burn, please call City Hall at 541-573-5255. Permits are $20.00 a year for a Burn Barrel or an Open Pile, $40.00 a year for both. BURNING HOURS BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. AND 4:00 P.M. **Recreational fires are exempt from burning hours** Please check air quality prior to burning, go to www.epa.gov. 

***Reminder: Clean your chimney at least once a year! A good rule to follow - clean before your first burn of the season in all wood burning fireplaces.***
